<li>First you have to downloading Windows 10 Technical Preview and install it on Mac OS X.</li>

<li>Download Windows 10 iso from <a href="http://onhax.net/windows-10-download-links/">here</a>.</li>
<li>Now Extract the ZIP file to<em>~/Documents/Parallels/, </em> Now in the Parallels folder you’ll have Windows 10 TP VM shell file. Double click on the file and then click on <em>Copied. </em>Now follow the steps below.After clicking on Copied, now click on select <em>Don’t Change.</em>
Now you’ll be in <em>Preboot eXecution Environment </em>screen, click on Action form the menu.<br />

Click on Stop from the menu.<br />

Again click on Actions , followed by <em>Configure > Hardware > CD/DVD 1 page > Connect to: > Choose an image file.</em><br />

Now proceed with your Windows installation.<br />

Once process is finished, create your user account.<br />

Apple is known to poach Android users, and when someone decides to 
switch from an iPhone to an Android phone people are more than just 
curious as to why anyone would make a decision like that. Whatever the 
reason to switch may be, anyone who previously went from an iOS device 
to an Android device or Windows Phone would have experienced a delay or a
 complete failure to receive messages sent by iPhone using friends. Try 
as one might, they just couldn’t get iMessages or even regular texts to 
find their way to the new Android phone. This happens when you don’t 
disconnect iMessages from your  phone number. You may have removed your 
Apple ID from a device but iMessages is a service that must be turned 
off and simply removing your Apple ID from a device just doesn’t cut it.
 Unfortunately, not a lot of people will know this until it is too late.
 This very issue got a significant amount of attention in the blogsphere
 earlier this year, and Apple has just released a tool to let you 
deactivate iMessages from any browser using your Apple ID.<br />

preference and turn iMessages off. The app released by Apple is intended
 for when you are no longer in possession of an iDevice but your phone

the Deregister iMessages page (linked below) and enter your phone 
number. Click Send Code and wait for a code to arrive on whichever 
mobile device you’re using. When you receive the code, enter it in the

Mixing music and experimenting with sounds isn’t something as simple 
as creating a playlist (or a mix tape?). It’s a lot of experimentation, 
it requires a good ear, and a pretty good idea of what you’re doing. It 
also requires the use of complex and costly software which is worth 
investing if you know you’re going to use it, and use it frequently. For
 anyone just curious about mixing music and trying their hand at being a
 DJ, there is <strong>Until AM</strong>, a simple web app that lets you 
mix any two songs either from your local drive or from SoundCloud. You 
can increase or decrease the playback speed, independently control the 
volume of each song, and manage the delay for each one.<br />

<span id="more-175032"></span>To add a song, use the tabs on the 
right column. There is one for SoundCloud complete with a search bar, 
and another for selecting local MP3 files. Browse for the file you want 
to use or search for a song in the SoundCloud tab.<br />

Select the song and drag it on to the disc area. Click the play 
button next to a disc to play the song. The speed controls for each 
respective song are next to it and duly labelled. You can speed up 
playback or slow it down. The song’s progression can be tracked from the
 progress bars at the top. The name of the song being played in each 
disc is displayed at the top of each progress bar.<br />

default, the mix is set to evenly mix both songs but you can change to 
suit your own taste. The two sliders in the middle let you manage the

 was rumoured to roll out on November 3, 2014. The new Nexus devices are

and they aren’t made universally available to all devices running 
Android. Many device owners will wait a considerably long time for an 
update to become available. This is a given when you decide to use 
Android but with Lollipop, there is more excitement and anticipation 
surrounding this release and you may be wondering why this update, of

 that limits what information an app can access thus limiting 
vulnerabilities in an app. This module existed in previous versions of 
Android but with Lollipop it has been implemented at a deeper core level
 making it significantly more effective. All apps will be required to 
enforce SELinux so the new security measures aren’t just on the OS side,
 developers will be made to comply with it.<br />

Device <strong>encryption</strong> has been possible on Android for 
quite awhile but it was never enabled by default, nor were users ever 
actively made aware the option existed. You can chalk this up to users 
just choosing to be lazy or ignorant but in the end, it is about 
compromised data and no one should have to search too hard for a way to 
secure their device. With Android Lollipop, when users power devices on 
for the first time, they will be asked to enable encryption. Before. it 
had to be located and enabled from the Settings app<br />

<strong>Smart Lock Screens</strong> that unlock in the presence of 
paired devices will let you skip entering a passcode. Many users don’t 
set a password of any kind because unlocking a device is a nuisance when
 you check your device very often. This feature is built to take the 
inconvenience out of it. Your phone will be able to identify that it’s 
you based on other known devices that you own being nearby. The feature 
will probably work best if you pair the device with an Android wearable.<br />

<strong>The Kill Switch</strong> is both a great new addition and a 
legal requirement as of 2014. It has to be manually enabled on the 
device but once that’s done, you can use the Google Device Manager and 
remotely wipe your device clean.<br />

Android Lollipop is Google being more proactive about protecting data
 loss and/or theft. It identified stolen devices to be the number one 
cause of data being stolen and you can see that apart from the new 
security module, the other three features are geared more towards 
preventing theft of this nature.

Over the last two years, the Start Screen of Windows 8 has received a
 ton of negative press. So much so that Microsoft was finally forced to 
provide boot to desktop option to Windows 8 users. Still yet, the Start 
Screen remains an indispensable asset of Windows 8.1, and if you need to
 quickly move back to the Desktop from Start Screen, you can simply make
 use of the Escape key. You can press the Escape key to return to the 
Desktop but oddly hitting it again doesn’t take you back the Start 
Screen.<br />

2. Win + T</h3>

Interestingly, Windows 8.1 Update 1 also adds the taskbar to the 
Modern UI. Not permanently, but it’s there. This means that you can 
access Taskbar in Modern UI apps and Start Screen. The only caveat 
however is that the Taskbar automatically hides itself after a few 
seconds. But you can press the Win + T hotkey combination to bring it 
up.<br />

3. Win + Down Scroll Key</h3>

In Update 1, Microsoft has tweaked the way Modern UI apps work 
slightly too, which includes letting users minimize a Windows Store app 
directly to the Taskbar in order to quickly access it again. If you want
 to minimize a Modern UI app with your keyboard, the Win + Down scroll 
key does the trick. Unfortunately, Win + Up doesn’t maximize it again.<br />

4. Win + Dot + Right or Left Scroll Keys</h3>

If you press the Win + Dot (Period) + Right or Left scroll keys, this
 will allow you to place up to four Modern UI apps (including Desktop) 
side by side. This combination is helpful when you need to quickly snap 
Windows or swap their current positions.<br />

5. Alt + F4</h3>

quickly close a Modern UI app than the good ol’ Alt + F4 shortcut

The desktop in Windows has always been an important asset to the

to quickly access them. In Windows 8.1, if you press the <em>Home</em> key when in desktop mode, it will take you to the first desktop icon (as demonstrated to the left). Conversely, pressing the <em>End</em>
 key will move the focus to the last shortcut icon in the last row of 
the desktop. This can come in handy when quickly opening ‘This PC’ by

Locking our phone with a 4 digit PIN, or with a pattern is a common 
way to keep our device secure but to be fair, it doesn’t take a lot of 
stealth to stand next to someone when they unlock their phone and guess 
what pattern or PIN they use. <strong>Smart Phone Lock</strong> is an 
Android app that locks your phone behind the same 4 digit PIN but it 
makes it much harder for anyone to guess what your PIN is because the 
app will change it every time. Obviously this sounds ridiculous because 
if the app is changing the PIN, how are you going to know what it 
is? Smart Phone Lock has two types of PINS that can be set; a Date PIN 
and a Time PIN. These PINs, as you can guess, change according to the 
current date and time. If you set a date PIN, it will change daily, and 
if you set a time PIN, it will change every minute. If you still think 
this isn’t secure, the app comes with two modifiers that change the 
value of the PIN making it all the harder to guess.<br />

Before you read ahead, Smart Phone Lock supports ads and that means 
you will have an ad on your lock screen. When you activate it, you set a
 default PIN which is what you must enter before you can make any 
modifications to the app’s settings. The app also asks for your phone 
number in case you forget your PIN so that it can send it to you by SMS.<br />

Select what type of PIN you want to set. Once you select the basic 
PIN, you can apply one or both the modifiers to it so that’s it’s harder
 for anyone to guess unless they know the modifying criteria. There are 
two modifiers, one is the Reverse PIN which will reverse the value of 
the PIN. For example, if you have set the Time PIN, and the current time
 is 8:15 then the PIN will be 0815. With the reverse modifier enabled, 
you will have to enter 5180 instead. The second modifier is the Offset 
PIN which uses a custom value that you enter. It must be between -60 and
 +60. The value is added to the current time and the resulting value is 
your current PIN. If you use both modifiers, the Offset value will be 
calculated and then the reverse rule will be applied to it. These rules 
apply to the Date PIN as well but the offset value increases or 
decreases the year.<br />

The lock screen itself is quite simple and we don’t really like the 
ad but more so because there is no way to remove it. You can hide the 
app from your home screen from its settings.<br />

Send A Window To A Different Virtual Desktop In Windows 10

Windows 10 introduced virtual desktops. Microsoft is quite far behind
 in introducing this feature since both OS X and Ubuntu have had it for 
ages. We don’t know just how cooked the feature is; whether it’s out in 
its entirety in the current developer build, or if there is more to come
 with the final release. That said, the new feature is very welcome and 
we’re hoping lots of third-party apps will be developed to help us get 
even more out of these desktops. Like virtual desktops on other popular 
operating systems, you can move apps between these desktops in Windows 
10. The process is much more refined in Windows 10 and makes it easier 
to send manage multiple windows.<br />

To send a window to a different desktop, you need to have more than 
one desktop added. It isn’t necessary for any apps to already be present
 on that desktop. To add a desktop, press Windows+Tab. and click the add
 desktop button. On this same screen, you will see open windows for the 
apps that are currently running.<br />

You can drag and drop a window on to a desktop. Alternatively, 
right-click a window and select the ‘Move to’ option and from the 
sub-menu, select which desktop you want to send it to. The desktops are 
named as Desktop 2, Desktop 3, and so on.  You will stay on the same 
screen but the window will be moved to the desktop you selected. If you 
have other windows to manage, you can continue to do so. If you’ve added
 a lot of virtual desktops, moving apps to them will be easier to do 
from this context menu.<br />

 screen would be quicker. OS X lets you simply drag an app to a 
different desktop, although cycling through to the right one is time

Snapping in Windows 10 is very different than it was in Windows 8 and 
Windows 7. If you never made the jump to Windows 8, or if you decided to
 revert back to Windows 7 after you realized you didn’t like Windows 8 
one bit, snapping windows in Windows 10 will seem even more different.

 review. One major change with the Snap feature is that it doesn’t just 
let you snap windows to one half or one quarter of the screen. Instead 
you have many more snapping options and more sizes to snap a window in. 
This guide details them all.

The Many States Of A Snapped Window</h3>
The gallery below shows the many positions you can snap a window 
to. This is just a handful of the positions that Windows 10 supports but
 these will be most familiar to Windows 7 users. It also details a bit

still use the Windows key and the arrow keys on your keyboard. The many 
combinations that you can now use to snap windows are illustrated below.
 Bear in mind that Windows 10 Technical preview is buggy (quite buggy) 
and some shortcuts may not respond at all times.<br />

<strong>Windows + Left Arrow and Windows + Right Arrow</strong> will snap windows to the left and right half of the screen respectively.<br />

With the window snapped to the left half (Windows + left arrow key), 
you can snap the window to a third quarter of the screen by hitting <strong>Windows+Right Arrow key+Right Arrow key</strong> (press the right arrow key twice). If you hit the <strong>Window+Up Arrow key</strong> the window remain this same width but will resize to half in length (see previous screenshot).<br />

You’ve probably noticed that the keyboard shortcut for both the last 
two snap states is the same but it yields different results. The 
difference arises because of the state the window was previously in 
before you typed the shortcut. With the Window snapped to the left half,
 the Windows+Right Arrow key x2, will snap it to the right, occupying a 
third part of the screen. With the window snapped to the top half of the
 screen, this same shortcut will snap it to the top right corner of the 
screen.<br />

<strong>Windows + Right Arrow key + Down Arrow key</strong>, will 
snap it to the bottom right quarter of the screen. In this same state, 
if you hit Windows+Left Arrow key, it will snap to the bottom half. 
Repeat this shortcut to snap it to the left half. You can continue to 
use the shortcut to cycle through the different quadrants of the screen.
 You can repeat it in reverse order by using the <strong>Windows+Left Arrow key</strong> shortcut to cycle through the different positions.<br />

 method. Open a YouTube video and let the page load. You don’t need for 
the entire video to finish buffering but make sure you turn on closed 
captions. If you aren’t trying to download the closed captions but 
rather the subtitles included by the uploader, you can skip this step.<br />

With the video open, open the developer tools and go to the Network 
tab. If there is a filter or a find feature, use it to make the job 
easier. Look for the entry that begins with ‘timedtext?’ (see screenshot
 below) and open this file in a new tab. It will open an XML file with 
the subtitles.<br />

When Instagram finally rolled out a web interface, the world 
rejoiced. And very soon, it wasn’t a big deal any more, possibly because
 the web interface has always felt like an obligatory sort of product. 
Instagram certainly doesn’t see much purpose behind it because no one is
 going to take and upload photos from their desktop. Instagram has life 
on our phones and is little more than place holder text when it comes to
 the desktop. I’ve personally never used the web interface much simply 
because there isn’t any point but<strong> Pictacular</strong> not only 
makes it infinitely better to view photos on Instagram but also makes it
 so you enjoy browsing photos. It’s a simple little web app that you 
connect your Instagram account to. In turn you can view your photo feed,
 save your hashtag searches, and browse photos in popular categories 
like food, tech, and brands.<br />

<span id="more-174818"></span>Pictacular defaults to your home feed 
and a single column view. Click the grid button at the top to switch to 
the Pinterest-like view. At the top, you have buttons for refreshing 
your feed, viewing all  popular photos, viewing photos nearby (based on 
location data), viewing photos you’ve uploaded, and viewing all photos 
that you’ve favorited. A dedicated button indicates when you have new 
account activity. The left side bar has links to the above feeds as 
well. There is a search bar and you can search by user or hashtag so it 
doesn’t take anything away from the actual Instagram for web experience.<br />

The Discover section expands to reveal popular categories such as 
brands, travel, food, music, tech and you can also suggest a channel of 
your own to appear here.<br />

Browsing photos on Instagram using Pictacular is a better experience 
because you can use the keyboard left and right arrow keys to view the

Pictacular lets you post comments and favorite photos but there is 
still no way you can upload one. The app has the same coffee brown color
 that you’re familiar with, a simple UI and ads. The one annoying thing 
about the app is that it constantly asks for your email address and 
there is no way to opt out of it. Other than that, it’s one of the most 
useful Instagram browsing apps I have seen to date.<br />

 is a Windows app that has just caught our attention for all the right 
reasons and warrants its own review. ScreenToGif is a free executable 
utility that records a screencast and saves it as GIF. Unlike <a href="http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/recordit-record-screencasts-and-save-them-as-high-quality-gifs/">Recordit</a>,
 it doesn’t convert from an video format to a GIF, instead you record a 
GIF. You select the frame rate and the recording area, and when you 
click record, it starts to capture the GIF. You can manage the playback 
rate, and choose to loop it and if that isn’t enough, the app also lets 
you add text to your GIF, insert title or image frames, and edit each 
individual frame. It is about as complete as a GIF making app gets and 
it’s fast.<br />

As a GIF maker, ScreenToGif is suited for quick feature demos; it can
 capture the mouse cursor when recording the GIF and also show mouse 
clicks. Launch the app and resize the window so that the area you want 
to record fits inside it. You can set a custom frame size down to the 
pixel using the tools at the bottom of the window. In the box next to 
the stopwatch, you set the frame rate. The higher the frame rate, the 
better the quality of the GIF. Click Record when you’re ready.<br />

You can manage the speed of the GIF, and enable a looped GIF from 
Image settings. In the app’s settings, you can select the output folder,
 enable cursor capturing, and disable the two second countdown that runs
 before recording begins.<br />

When recording, you can pause a GIF, and resume it. Once the GIF has 
been recorded, it opens in an editor where you can watch it 
playback. ScreenToGif lets you add frames both from an image file, or a 
title frame from Options in the top bar. You can add captions, text, 
export frames, and delete everything after or before a certain point in 
the GIF. You also add a color filter to the GIF, pixelate or add a blur 
effect. Each individual frame can be edited. Use the arrows at the 
bottom right of the editor to move to the next or previous frame. Last 
but not least, you also have a free drawing tool in addition to the text
 and frame insertion features.<br />

watermarks whatsoever on the final file. ScreenToGif isn’t meant for 
creating reaction GIFs foor witty internet comments. It is one of the
